- Virat Kohli
- Jasprit Bumrah
- Ravindra Jadeja
These players have been retained because of their outstanding performances.
Even thoughĀ Rohit, Kohli, and JadejaĀ retired from T20IS after IndiaāsĀ T20 World Cup 2024 win, they are still key players in Tests and ODIS.

R Ashwin, who retired from international cricket last year, has been dropped from this list.

This group includes players who have been performing well consistently.Ā

Why Were Shreyas Iyer & Ishan Kishan Dropped Last Year?
Last season, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan were not given contracts because they did not play domestic cricket when they were not playing for India.
- Shreyas IyerĀ said he hadĀ back pain, so he skipped matches for Mumbai.
- Ishan KishanĀ chose to play in aĀ local T20 tournament (DY Patil Cup)Ā instead of playing for Jharkhand in domestic matches.
