Ravindra Jadeja has been serving Chennai Super Kings for so long time and there is no doubt that Chennai Super Kings will let him go despite his retirement from T20I cricket.
The obvious move is because Chidambaram Stadium is the home ground of Chennai Super Kings.
The pitch at Chidambaram Stadium is slow and dry. This means spinners are very crucial on that wicket and batting there is not easy.

Shocking Moves
There are some shocks as well by the team despite the obvious picks.
Shivam Dube is a player who no one predicted he will be retained by Chennai Super Kings ahead of other players who were not retained by the team.
Shivam Dube strengthens the Middle order and with his long-range six-hitting abilities, he proved to be the lethal batter of Chennai last year.
He plays spin very well and Chennai Super Kings has invested so much in Shivam Dube which makes him feel to take this decision.
2 names that Chennai Super Kings didn’t go for and the shocking ones are Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway.
